Frequently Asked Questions

Hell no! I’ve worked in marketing agencies for most of my career and I have always felt that the traditional agency model is outdated. I have heard of (and sadly witnessed) horror stories of people wasting their time, energy and money on marketing agencies that just end up missing the mark in the end – and on an expense budget to boot! I knew there had to be a better way, so I created it through a coaching process.

Coaching is designed to put the business owner in the driver’s seat of their marketing plan. Instead of a do-it-for-you model like the marketing agencies preach, I teach you how to fish, so you can eat forever.

It is really important that business owners understand the foundation of marketing and they must be a part of the promotional process to be successful. At the end of the day – YOU are your business and I firmly believe that you are the expert in your industry. Coaching is a collaboration between us.

Whether you choose to work with me 1:1 or in a group setting, I will teach you valuable marketing and public relations strategies and tactics that you will implement for your business. I will be your ally through the process, help you troubleshoot issues and brainstorm new and interesting ways to market your business.

The beauty of my past experience working in marketing agencies has given me a wide array of knowledge in multiple industries. I have worked in tech, healthcare, tourism, food and beverage, financial, destinations, etc. – you name it, I have done it. What I have learned is that the coaching process fits any type of small business, because the fundamentals of marketing are universal.
I estimate that to be successful in the coaching process, you will need to set aside at least 10 to 15 hours a week to the coaching process. This includes preparing a topic that you would like to get coached on prior to your 60 minute session each week. You’ll also need to implement the marketing assignments we uncover together. You have to do the work in order to reap the rewards.

After each individual 60 minute session, we will discuss marketing assignments that you will implement prior to your next session. I’ll share with you my best tips and tricks of getting these assignments completed and we’ll talk about how we can best keep you accountable to get your goals accomplished.

When you have completed all the sessions in your coaching package, you will be able to refer back to your coaching guide book where you captured all of your notes that were produced from our coaching sessions together, so you can refer back to it any time. You will also have lifetime access to my closed Facebook group, The Moguls and Mavens Collective, where you can continue to share your progress with me and network with other entrepreneurs in my circle. I also provide ongoing workshops and lessons inside the closed Facebook group.

Let’s be real – anyone can call themselves a Coach these days due to the lack of regulation in the coaching industry.

However, I have gone the extra mile to be trained in the coaching process and have received my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) accreditation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). ICF is an association that provides professional coaching credentialing and training. Through my membership with the ICF, I continuously participate in educational training to continue to develop my coaching skills at the highest and most ethical standards.

Also, as a corporate professional, I am in the trenches of the marketing world every single day and have won multiple awards for my work over the past decade. I have my pulse on the newest trends, best practices and market research. I can specifically coach you through the nuances, because I am doing the work myself.

And did I mention that I worked in 5 different marketing agencies across the country? I know how to cut through the bullshit and get down to the real tactics that will actually move the needle for you and your growing business.

I recommend that you experience one of my workshops or book a 60 minute coaching session before signing up for any of my coaching packages. I want to make sure you’re confident in your purchase and feel that I am the right coach for you.

It’s important that we are mutually on the same page and that you understand that coaching is a collaboration and a partnership – so we have to click! It has to feel right for both of us!

This is also a commitment of time and investment in resources on your end as the coachee. If you’re not willing to meet me halfway and implement the marketing tactics we discuss, then don’t purchase a package. It’s that simple.

However, I do understand that life happens and emergencies come up. If you have signed up for a coaching package and need to delay your payments, modify your payment plan, or make changes to your session dates – I totally understand. Please reach out to me via email [email protected] and we will work together to adjust parameters as needed. Thank you!
