Our Girl Boss Assembly Timeline

Curves Ahead Co. and C&M Lawns is bringing together small business owners to celebrate and be inspired during National Small Business Week by hosting the Girl Boss Assembly.

During this assembly hear from a variety of speakers to motivate you to dream big, grow, promote, and market your small business. All entrepreneurs are welcome to attend. 

Our Assembly theme is “Rising through Collaboration over Competition.”

Frequently Asked Questions

The Mogul status, the highest tier of our sponsorship level, includes one free ticket and lunch on us! 

The Trailblazer and Innovator levels require you to purchase a ticket and boxed lunch, but we will send you a discount code as a thank you for supporting the event. 

No, tickets to the Girl Boss Assembly are not included in your purchase of a Girl Boss Marketplace vendor spot. 

If you are a part of our Girl Boss Membership, you will receive a discounted vendor spot and a discount code to purchase your ticket and boxed lunch. 

Please note, the reasoning for this is because we are essentially paying for two venue locations as event organizers and need to cover our costs. 

No, at this time we are not accepting any additional speakers for the May 2nd event. 

However, if you’re interested in being a speaker for next year, please reach out to us at [email protected]

Yes, it is free. We are taking raffle basket donations from all small business owners. 

Please make sure you reach out to us to let us know that you’re providing a basket at [email protected]

Please bring your basket the morning of the event and drop it off at the registration booth at the entrance with Donna.

Purchasing a boxed lunch from Leiter’s Fine Catering, Inc. has been made optional. 

However, we highly recommend purchasing a lunch as no outside food is permitted at the venue. 

Also, our program runs through the lunch hour. 

Please select an ‘add on’ when purchasing your general admission ticket on Eventbrite. You will see an option to choose a turkey, roast beef or veggie wrap and it will be reflected in your check out.

General tickets will be for sale online until our program begins at 10AM. However, all boxed lunch orders must be submitted by April 22, 2024. Otherwise you are subject to not receiving a boxed lunch onsite. 

We will have extra lunch boxes for purchase but it will be first-come-first serve. 

For general admission tickets and boxed lunch purchase, you have until April 22nd to ask for a full refund. However, after that date we will not be issuing refunds at all.

For sponsorship or Girl Boss vendor purchases, there will be no refunds issued once you’ve paid in full. 

Thank you for your understanding as your purchases directly affect our event programming. 

Yes, our Girl Boss Marketplace pop up in University Plaza from 2PM-6PM will be rain or shine. 

All vendors must bring their own 10×10 tent, tables, chairs, displays, etc.

If you are a part of your Girl Boss Membership, please wear your pink Girl Boss shirts!
